Day 1: Arrival and Explore the Grand Palace & Wat Phra Kaew Arrive in Bangkok. Depending on your arrival time, check into your hotel and rest. Visit the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew). These are among Thailand's most sacred sites, so dress respectfully. In the evening, explore the bustling streets of Bangkok, maybe visit a night market like Asia Tique the Riverfront for food and shopping.
Visit Wat Pho to see the Reclining Buddha early in the morning. Take a boat ride on the Chao Phraya River and explore the city’s waterways. Visit Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) in the afternoon. In the evening, consider a visit to the Sky Bar for breathtaking views of Bangkok. Day 3-4: Chiang Mai
Take an early flight or train to Chiang Mai. After settling into your accommodation, explore the Old City, visit some of the temples like Wat Chedi Luang. In the evening, explore the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar for some street food and shopping.
Spend your morning at the Elephant Nature Park or a similar ethical elephant sanctuary. In the afternoon, visit Doi Suthep Temple. The climb up the Naga staircase to the temple offers stunning views of Chiang Mai.
Take a flight to Phuket or Krabi early in the morning. Spend the day relaxing on the beaches or take a boat tour to nearby islands like Phi Phi or James Bond Island.
If Departing: Enjoy a leisurely morning at the beach or explore local markets. Depart for the airport according to your flight schedule. If Extending Stay: Consider a day trip to the Similan Islands, known for their crystal-clear waters and excellent snorkelling and diving spots. Explore more of the local area, perhaps taking a cooking class or visiting a spa.
